Handmade Wooden Hanging Tidal Clock With Unique Ceramic Wave Design

This beautiful hanging wave inspired laser etched tidal clock has been made from natural wood. Attached is a handmade ceramic wave which is an original design only used by ourselves.
This will make a lovely gift for anyone who likes to play in the sea or wants to feel closer to the water by knowing the tides at their favourite spot on the coast.

Size: 21 cm long x 11 cm high x 6 cm deep (including stand)

This tide clock will provide you with the tide times, simply refer to the local tide charts at your selected location and then set the clock at the next high or low tide.
The tidal clock will rotate every 12 hours and 25 minutes which is half the lunar cycle of 24 hours 50 minutes which governs high and low tide.

The tidal clock has a quartz single hand movement a AA battery is provided.

Handmade in my studio. No matter how big or small the ceramic item, each piece is hand-pressed by myself, dried, fired, glazed with 3 coats of glaze and fired again.

Due to the fact that each piece is handmade, you may find slight imperfections in the form, colours, texture, pattern and marks left by the handmade process. This is what makes each piece unique, gives character and make it individual.
